New featurette is now online for Resident Evil: Afterlife. We get to see some new footage, the making of the movie, cast and crew talk about the 3-D process and their thoughts on the franchise.

Official synopsis:

In a world ravaged by a virus infection, turning its victims into the Undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich), continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but Alice gets some unexpected help from an old friend. A new lead that promises a safe haven from the Undead takes them to Los Angeles, but when they arrive the city is overrun by thousands of Undead - and Alice and her comrades are about to step into a deadly trap.

Resident Evil: Afterlife is directed by Paul W. S. Anderson and stars Milla Jovovich, Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter and Shawn Roberts.

Film is set to hit theatres on September 10th.

Hope this is the last. Resident Evil needs to get a reboot or get shelved. Restart with the original characters from the game and work from there.

i cant wait for this movie and i know alot of people hate it and yes its lost its way but ima fan so ill see it through all the way and the only thing i dont like is alice and her matrix powers

I loved the first two movies, they are great zombie movies but the third one went all post apocalyptic, which never happened in the games and made the second movie utterly pointless. Plus the acting and CGI effects was terrible! The third one should have had the lovely Milla Jovovich in a plot closer to the one from the animated movie, Resident Evil Degeneration with Milla fighting to take down the Umbrella Corporation while a small zombie infestation breaks out wuithout the cliched post-apocalyptic wasteland. And it should have ended with the third one! I for one will not be going to see this abortion of a movie

They should do a reboot, make it actually like the games,

3-D DOESN'T MEAN ITS GOING TO BE A GOOD MOVIE. 3-D SUCKS IF THE DIRECTOR DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT. AVATAR IS THE ONLY MOVIE THAT USES 3-D CORRECTLY, NOW EVERYONE WANTS TO USE IT, AND THAT MESSES UP A LOT OF MOVIES.

all the RE movies suck!! there hasnt been a good zombie flick since dawn of the dead. i dont get how some say this is a good video game movie.

The Resident Evil movies are very good! Any one who says they suck are the die hard RE fans. A direct translated story from the games would be lousy movies. Every film would be a different cast and a different star and no film maker would do that intentionally.

On top of that, anything with Milla Jovovich is awesome cause she is sooooooo hot!

I'g going to see it just because they finally decided to put Albert Wesker and Chris Redfield in the movie. Besides, I've been playing Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition like two weeks straight! Lol!

milla jovovich is hot,the movies are shit.

for these to be good,they need a reboot & follow the video game storyline more closely for example resident evil(mansion)-resident evil 5(africa).

Im a real fan of the franchise...(not of the crappy movies) i mean the real resident evil, biohazzard....whatever...i played all the games...-.-' i know the story like the palm of my hand.... and i hate this stupid movie franchise...-.-' resident evil have like 1000 great character ...seriously.... but they cant take one of them....-.-' nooo they pick a new not existing character...and focus the whole franchise in her!!!!.....


if they kill chriss redfield like they killed Carlos Olivera...im gonna put a bomb in the directors house xD....make a reboot !!! and bring Leon S. Kennedy for main character!!!!!!!!

the Resident Evil movies have always been my guilty pleasure. I think they're horrible movies, yet I enjoy watching them. This one's probably going to be just as dumb, but I'm still going to watch it.

I don't know why some people don't like these movies except their not exactly like the freaking games. if this was the case the first 2 would be a slow fest while the the third one we would have speed through it. the old RE games moved so slow i did not necessarily want to play it except on the game cube when it sped more, then of course with ps3 when its at its fastest. not everything should be like the video game, but things that needed to be like they were when they were made dragon ball evolution should have been made like the cartoon. avatar should have been made with all aspects of the cartoon. movies that were truly f uped.

was NEVER a main character (playable)..NEVER..
So WHY make a Video Game movie BASED on a
character that was NEVER playable..Also the
FIRST movie was based on..NOTHING..with some
NODS to the franchise..the second movie..
Resident Evil: Apocalypse was just a mashed
up of RE:2, RE:3, and Code Veronica..

Anyway..just because FINALLY they have Wesker,
Chris Redfeild..and it has RESIDENT EVIL in
the title..does not make it GOOD!

I am a HUGED fan of the games..I would rather
PLAY the games, than to watch a movie..
BARELY based on the games.

Overall, Alice is somewhat a conglomerate of
multiple Resident Evil (VG) personalites that comprise of, but is not limited to Yoko Suzuki, Claire Redfield, T-103/T-0400TP Tyrant, Alexia Ashford, and Albert Wesker.
