UPDATE! CBM's Godzilla expert, Daniel Alvarez or better known to the CBM community as Destroyer_199, has pointed out that these two images are actually fan art. Whoops!

As far as Bleeding Cool can tell these two images originally popped up on, Lowyat forum.

The film will be directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters) based on a script by David Goyer that Max Borenstein has rewritten.

Looks kinda cool but the whole design looks a bit too busy. Not that 'Zilla should look sleek but the spikes seem way too overdone and he (She? Shklee?) looks a bit like Doomsday in the first image.

The footage looked much better than this. The artist's for this concept art went overboard on the scales and spikes. The Hall H trailer looked very good thank god and went back to its japanese roots for the look.

This is a concept I liked. There was another one but I can't find it. This is from when Godzilla was being developed in the early 90s

Lose the arm spikes and I'm in. I've been a Godzilla fan for as long as I've been alive. I even have the japanese writing for Godzilla tattooed on my arm. So I'm psyched for this movie.
