Visually, a good job as usual. But WTF was this? A comedy? Horror? Campy? Romance? Depp doing his weird faces again? I missed Alice in Wonderland and i think i'll pass this too. I prefer Frankenweenie.

...or is it the fact that I have been sleeping for countless hours, just woke up after having had horrific visions and dreams from another world and dimension, and this is the first thing I viewed ??

Yes, the content did its own damage for me. Campy and Dark Shadows doesn't go together for me. I grew up watching the actual show though, so my expectations are skewed.
