The marketing for the second season of Marvel's Iron Fist has now kicked into high gear, as Danny Rand's sophomore solo outing is set to hit Netflix early next month.

On the heels of the full trailer and a new poster, Netflix has debuted this banner which features Danny (Finn Jones) wearing his proto-Iron Fist costume.

Though many fans would much rather see him jump straight into the classic comic outfit, Matt Murdock went through the same process in season 1 of Daredevil and everything worked out just fine. Granted, his all-black ensemble did look quite a bit cooler than this!

That actually doesn't look half bad as a costume. Reminds me of Daredevil season 1 black costume.

@Comicbookart - yeah but after a whole season and spin off of no mask it feels like they're messing with us by giving a mask that's purposefully not the mask from the comics. Like its nothing like it other than color.

@Comicbookart - I think it look better on screen than the comic book accurate version. It's not all the costume that fit on big screen

Hopefully he gets his classic mask sometime this season (other than the flashback), but at least this time around he's not just beating up thugs as billionaire Danny Rand.

Now we're getting somewhere. I'm actually interested in this again...

Iron Fist team up in Luke Cage Season 2 was an unexpected surprise.

Iron Fist S1 wasn't horrible.

It was like a plain ham sandwich.

I remember having it, but that's about all I can say...

I hope this season isn't as unwatchable as the first.

Boring uncharismatic villains that look like generic henchmen but talk like they're Thanos-level bad guys, poor lead acting, weak unbelievable romance...terrible storytelling...good lord that was a tough pill to swallow.

@Humperdink - And hopefully no Claire this time, she is a good character but just doesn't fit with Iron Fist. They should keep her only for Daredevil and Luke Cage, although not sure if she is needed in Daredevil anymore either.
