IGN Movies has confirmed that fans will finally be able to get their first look at Iron Man 2 in the coming weeks...

The teaser trailer for Iron Man 2 will definitely run with the Christmas release of Sherlock Holmes, which also stars Robert Downey Jr. The trailer will also debut online at Apple.

Sherlock Holmes is released on Christmas Day in the US and December 26th in the UK.

PETE: Thanks! I most definitely will be going to see the movie! Cinemas in the US open on Christmas day then? That's pretty much unheard of in the UK (for some reason, lol!) Still, at least I'll be able to find it online!

josh@ movies here come out on christmas day all the time. its actually a big release day with lots of movies debuting. its good, cause after you get tired of being around your crazy family all day you can go to a movie to unwind.

The trailer will really debut on December 17 with Avatar, but that is only in New Zealand. New Zealnd is a week ahead of us for getting the trailer and the actual film.
