An insider says that Gwyneth is fuming over the press coverage that Scarlett is receiving.

Back in May, it was reported that Gwyneth Paltrow, reprising her role as Pepper Potts, assistant to Tony Stark/Iron Man (played by Robert Downey Jr.) was jealous about the attention that her new co-star, Scarlett Johansson was receiving on the set of Iron Man 2. An unnamed source said that Paltrow found Johansson "demanding" and said that Paltrow was jealous of the outfits that Johansson's character, the Black Widow, wears in the movie.

Director Jon Favreau officially announced today that principal photography has wrapped, but the Iron Man 2 drama continues. Once again, an unnamed source claims that Paltrow is fuming over the attention that Johansson is receiving. This time, the source claims that its Paltrow's noticeable absence from this week's Entertainment Weekly cover and other promotional materials for the movie that has the actress seeing red. Apparently, Paltrow has even boycotted the San Diego Comic Convention.



A spokesman for Paltrow denies the rumors, saying:

"(Gwyneth) was not at all upset. The fans will get to see more of Pepper Potts as we get closer to the film's release next May."

Iron Man 2 also stars Don Cheadle as Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes and Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer. Samuel L. Jackson reprises the role of Nick Fury, a character introduced after the credits of the first Iron Man movie.

That's a god awful pic of Scarlet right there. Come to think of it, the ONLY decent pic of Scarlet ever made was the highly airbrushed Black Widow pic we saw earlier. I've seen rotting carcasses look better than that mug!!! Paltrow's ten times hotter. Hey Gwyneth, with a mug like that, you know all the attention Scarlet's getting is cause of her humongous knockers. Hit the surgeons and you could very well get way more attention than her :))

Dude read a comic before you post, I mean im not going to disagree with you saying Widow has the bigger fanbase, But pepper is alot more then a secretary. She has been the Leader of the Order given the rank of Hera. She has the power of magnetism and has even dawned armor. to say shes just some secretary is stupid. Shes been Tony's right hand since forever and has gone off and on being romantically involved with one another. Without Pepper there is no Tony. Just like without Lois there is no Clark!

i hope this news wasnt taken from The Sun - when i posted a Gwyneth vs. Scarlett story a few months back that was reported from The Sun everyone went nuts, lol!!

still, i dont blame them for promoting Scarlett more - not only is she hotter than gwyneth but Black Widow is a much more interesting and important character than Pepper Potts!

In not crazy over Scarjo, i do think she can look smokin hot..and not so smokin hot as in the above pic. Shes certainly isn't ugly by any stretch. Gwyneth prob does have a prettier face..anyway, about the article, if its true then its very silly to be acting so childish..but you never know with these things.
