I saw this the first time i scrolled down the pics. Rhodes is wearing a peculiar ring which has me thinking Mandarin and the 10 rings organization which could also mean that he might be double crossing Tony in the near future. Or this could easily be an April Fools joke seeing as how its hard to believe that Rhodes could be a villain.

It's obvious what the ring is, Cheadle will be playing Jon Stewart in GL! And see the scar on whiplashes eye? Remember back in the 70's when Iron Man used his repolsor rays on Crimson Dynamo and they hit so hard the helmet cut his face, this proves that he wears the CD armor before he's whiplash! Also if you look in the background of the monaco scenes you can see the fantastic four eating nachoes in the stands.

Don Cheadle is a good Rhodey, but he just isn't War Machine...yet. I'm undecided

To be honest, I didn't know War Machine was a black guy until Iron Man 2. lol

...! He's wearing it on his right hand in the promo picture, and on the left in the picture MultiPurposePoni posted! Plot twist! Conspiracy! Maybe not, but it's odd why it's the focal point of the picture, like CBK mentioned (and odd why they felt the need to have him wear it in the promo photo at all).

Why does Favreau have one? I know he's the Director but He really don't have a hugh role in the movie does he?

yea, bigger role for Happy. Not much bigger, but he had like 3 lines in the first film. I've seen him with the suitcase handcuffed to his wrist, so that that only leads me to believe he'll have like 10 or so this movie.

@Unreal2k9: Did you read any of the "Iron Man", "War Machine", and "Force Works" comics from like '93? Jim has had his turn as somewhat of a villain. Though, this is just an Air Force Ring.
