Marvel Studios’ “Iron Man 3” pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy's hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

Starring Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall, Stephanie Szostak, James Badge Dale with Jon Favreau and Ben Kingsley, “Iron Man 3” is directed by Shane Black from a screenplay by Drew Pearce and Shane Black and is based on Marvel’s iconic Super Hero Iron Man, who first appeared on the pages of “Tales of Suspense” (#39) in 1963 and had his solo comic book debut with “The Invincible Iron Man” (#1) in May of 1968.

“Iron Man 3” is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures and DMG Entertainment. Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige is producing and Jon Favreau, Louis D'Esposito, Stephen Broussard, Victoria Alonso, Alan Fine, Charles Newirth, Stan Lee and Dan Mintz are executive producers. The film releases May 3, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

I think Shane Black did a great job with Iron Man 3. Kudos to him. Couldn't have been a better start to Phase 2. I love how Kevin Feige and Marvel keep the directors in line so the movies in MCU are cohesive and connected, unlike Fox.

Couple bootlegs out now, except not with English audio.

I'm hoping an English one hits soon. That'll tide me over until Friday.

So can we all now judge ALL CBMs on actual movie quality foremost?

Comic book movies need to be great, they need to be, and judging by RT IM3 is great.

Comic accuracy is definitely still important, but come on you guys, appreciate a great film BASED on the comics.

And this goes for all good CBMs (Nolans Batman, Singers X-Men, Raimi's Spider-Man)

WeNeedRevelation,
This was all done on a flip video. These kinds of interviews are 10 minute quickies with no time to set up a professonal rig. Most of the reporters aren't even filming it. So, you get what you get.

i have seen iron man 3......tea said that it is on par with avengers....but it is not that great.... entertaining film but not great....got a lot of action ...but not great action... there is no scene that hyped me up....i never felt like wow that was cool....may be because there is nothing new....i don't want to spoil it....if you get too hyped up you will be disappointed....sometimes too much comedy can be bad .....like scenes that are serious had to be left serious...but are spoiled by one liner gags...

Iron Man 3 is awesome! I've always liked Shane Black's writing. Lethal Weapon, Long Kiss Goodnight, Last Boyscout, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang are all enjoyable action comedies. RDJ is fantastic as Tony Stark. He displays his arrogance, his charm, his intelligence and his desire to be a better man.

I understand the criticisms because it won't please everybody but it is funny, creative, and action packed. The third act doesn't disappoint and is well thought out and a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy.

A thoroughly enjoyable comic book movie for me.

@Gothamnight

You understand that even though it's based off a comicbook, doesn't mean it have to be excatly like the comics? The MCU and comics are different universes, you want The Mandarin so bad go read a comicbook and stop trolling.

@gotham Is that all you took from IM3? In 5 years they will reboot Iron Man and the story will be different.

What? You can't complain about all heroes and villains not done right. You'd be online forever. Just enjoy it as a movie.

For anyone who thinks the action isn't up to par with the Avengers, look at this way, the Avengers had the ENTIRE cast to take on an entire army. Tony's on his own most of the time in this movie. Proportionally speaking, the action could actually be bigger in this one.

But still,I was a little disappointed about the ironmen.they just....arghhh...wasted,man.I was almost scream when tony wore the red centurian until it was tear apart by the villanous killian.by the way,the action is just average.

I actually agree with @wonderer
These flame wars are so lame lets all be happy we live in a time where multiple CBMs are released each year.
