Olivia Munn on Iron Man 2 & Potential Avengers Role

This 19 year old ex-cheerleader (now an Air Force Security Forces Sniper) was watching a road that led to a NATO military base when she observed a man digging by the road. She engaged the target (ie, she shot him). It turned out he was a bomb maker for the Taliban, and he was burying an IED that was to be detonated when a US patrol walked by 30 minutes later. It would have certainly killed and wounded several soldiers.

The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards. She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb. The shot went through his butt and into the bomb which detonated; he was blown to pieces. The Air Force made a motivational poster of her.

(Folks , that's a shot 25 yards longer than seven football fields!)

I was disappointed at Olivia Munn's overhyped role. She's still hot and I'd still do her but it was just nothing of note.

No, just no. Like Tyler said, she's a waste of space and pretty much a waste of a human being.

I barely notices her until her part was nearly done, of course it does not help that i am blind as a damn bat. :P
So anyways, I just saw Iron Man 2 and thought the movie was too short and there was not enough SLJ in the movie. I would have loved to see a near nudie scene of Olivia and RDJ like the first one, but he is ogling Pepper pots the whole movie.
Speaking of Pepper Pots, I just enjoyed hearing Tony and her argue through out the movie, and Rodies reaction to them at the end.

I liked the movie alot, I though olivia could of had a better role, and think she has possible potential but you never know to you give people more chances and experience to grow.

Less than 10 seconds in than IM2 and now the Avengers?!?!?!?

She only appeared for 10 measley seconds in a role that any extra could've played. Honestly, she should just stick with being a TV talk show personality.

she is going to have a bigger role on the dvd, they were doing re-shoots of her scenes while the were finishing up editing and didn't get it done on time, so there for it is going on the DVD so there will be more Munn in IM2

Umm I guess I'm gonna be in the minority here and ask, why they hell are so many people hating on this chick? She was in it for 5 to 10 seconds. She didn't exactly screw it up, considering how there was nothing to screw. So what's the big deal? Yeah I get it, she's annoying, but since when does any person's actual personality make a difference in their acting ability, and yes I say acting cause we honestly don't even know if she can or can't act. She keeps getting 5 second bit cameo roles so there's absolutely no way to gauge her acting ability if she does actually have some. So again, why is every getting bent outta shape over her. Hey if she has less charisma than a garden gnome, but winds up acting like the most seductive woman on the planet, yeah I'd be good with that. Just my personal opinion. Try not to be so harsh if/when you criticize said opinion.

(P.S. To anyone who'd about to say she has no acting ability because she's only get 5 second bit roles, take into consideration the fact that she isn't actually aiming for lead roles.)

who gives a damn? she was in the movie for all of four seconds. I was really disappointed at all of the websites building up "OLIVIA MUNN IN IRON MAN II!" for months when she wound up being totally passable. if I sneezed I probably would have missed her part, and I definitely would not have cared.

@Osiris: I stand corrected, will go watch those and gauge some sorta response. I'll watch Greek, not the horror flick. I gave up on horror flicks of this day and age a long time ago. BTW I'm diggin the avatar. One of the best secret endings out there.

so many people wanted her to play someone important, and thats just ridiculous. i didn't want her to, because i had never seen her in anything. well this weekend i watched The Slammin' Salmon, and she's in that.

...TERRIBLE ACTRESS!!!!! just terrible. shame on anyone for wanting her to be an important character :)
