With the May 7 release date of "Iron Man 2" sneaking up, collectors and fans have their eyes peeled for any and all upcoming collectibles to get their hands on. Well fans, fix your gaze on Sideshow Collectibles as they roll out a series of statues and busts based on the movie and its characters. In fact, today, a brand new Iron Man Mark VI maquette statue goes up for pre-order over at sideshowtoy.com. The statue stands a whopping 17-inches tall and will ship towards the end of the year. Each piece is hand-painted and comes with LED light-up hands, heart and eyes for $489.99. The Sideshow exclusive version comes with a nameplate and costs an extra 10 bucks at $499.99.




Meanwhile, Sideshow's continuing team-up with Japanese toy and statue manufacturer Hot Toys brings even more collectibles into the States! First up will be Hot Toys' Iron Man Mark IV bust which sits 9.5-inches tall and comes with light-up eyes and heart. The bust will run you $64.99 and ships this spring.

Holy shit. Thats alot of damn money. Are we paying for a robotic wearing Iron Man suit or for some regular metal I can get from a broke down car? I would rather buy some ugly art for less
