Below you'll find the first 6 or so minutes of DC's next animated feature, Justice League Dark. In the opening scenes we find Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman all involved in separate incidents with civilians who are experiencing terrifying hallucinations of demonic creatures.

This leads to a meeting at the Hall of Justice, before we get to a couple of scenes that have already been released as clips, involving Bats being his usual friendly self and some ominous Constantine foreshadowing.

When innocent civilians begin committing unthinkable crimes across Metropolis, Gotham City and beyond, Batman must call upon mystical counterparts to eradicate this demonic threat to the planet. Enter Justice League Dark, reluctantly led by the Hellblazer himself, John Constantine. Like Batman, Constantine is a cunning, often cynical loner who is the best at his chosen profession – but quickly realizes the sinister forces plaguing the planet will require help from other supernatural alliances. Forming a new “league” with sorceress Zatanna, otherworldly Deadman, and Jason Blood and his powerful alter ego Etrigan the Demon, this team of Dark Arts specialists must unravel the mystery of Earth’s supernatural plague and contend with the rising, powerful villainous forces behind the siege – before it’s too late for all of mankind.

Justice League Dark will feature Matt Ryan as John Constantine alongside Jason O’Mara as Batman, Camilla Luddington as Zatanna, Nicholas Turturro as Deadman, Ray Chase as Jason Blood/Etrigan, Roger R. Cross as John Stewart/Swamp Thing, Jeremy Davies as Ritchie Simpson, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Enrico Colantoni as Felix Faust, and Alfred Molina as Destiny.

The movie will debut digitally on January 24th, and then make its way to DVD and Blu-ray on February 7th, 2017.

@RorMachine - How? Give me a few reasons why?

@RorMachine - Just finished watching it. Though the beginning had me worried it would be another one of these mediocre animated movies DC has been doing lately, it gets surprisingly better by the time the team gets together. Definitely worth checking out!

@RorMachine - Eh, it wasn't that bad. I found this movie to be really enjoyable =)

@nibs - A live action Justice League Dark would be the tits!

@Stealthduck - Eh, with how shitty the DCEU is being right now, I think I'll pass on that trainwreck. Maybe if they reboot their live action film universe (which I don't see happening unless WW and JL flops) to something better, then I might see it (if they fix all of the issues with the DCEU).

Until then I'll get my DC fix from their Cartoons, and TV Shows.

I really wish they'd start using a different style for the characters. But hope this is a good movie nonetheless.

@Highball - Agreed. This style is disgusting. If they were gonna keep looks I wish they'd keep the Justice League: Doom looks.

Does it suck because it's DC, Sony, or the combined suck of both

When this was first announced and introduced, I was intent on buying it on Blu. Expectations have tempered and will just watch it on KODI.

That was pretty meh. My friend watched it last night and he said it was cringe-worthy. I haven't liked a DC animated feature since Batman vs Robin and even that was just mildly okay.

I'm taking a Batman break but I'm curious about this one, should I watch it or is just another Batman movie?
Lemons
Lemons - 1/24/2017, 1:10 PM
@dubjon - Watch it. I enjoyed more than the recent DC Animated films. Batman is pretty minor and for the most part stands in the background. You get a lot of Constantine and the mystical characters.

@Lemons - Yes, that's what I wanted to hear.

So if this is a trial run to see if folks want a JL Dark live action film, then its not a very good one.
Nightmare

@ComicsBornAndBred - They need to rethink their animation department. Need a new director. Oliva has been swinging and missing since Flashpoint.

Shoulda let GDT direct. He's killing it with Trollhunters at Netflix.
GhostDog
GhostDog - 1/24/2017, 12:47 PM
@Nightmare - GDT would be great. If they get crazy, why not give the guys, or anyone for that matter, who worked on the Avatar series, and Korra, a call.

Or get the YJ guys to do a film or two if they have the time.
Nightmare
Nightmare - 1/24/2017, 12:57 PM
@ComicsBornAndBred - Oliva directed 10 episodes of Young Justice. Really wish GDT was directing the big one, but I trust Liman as crazy cocky as he is.

Young Justice season 3 needs to rescue their animation. It's been meh for the past 3 years. Lil faith in Judas Contract now.

@Nightmare - amen to that
