WB Animation's Next Feature Is JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK

It appears that the next DTV title from WB Animation after Batman: The Killing Joke will be an animated adaptation of Justice League Dark. What does this mean for Guillermo del Toro's live-action film?

According to the BBFC, the home video release of Batman: The Killing Joke will contain a sneak peek of the next DTV release, Justice League Dark.  What this means for Guillermo del Toro's long gestating live-action adaptation is anyone's guess. is del Toro involved with the project?  Perhaps WB wants to test the waters by gauging interest through a less risky market?

Batman: The Killing Joke's World Premiere has been confirmed for Friday, July 22, at SDCC.  That's one day before the film is made available for purchase on select digital platforms.   In all likelihood, WB Animation probably wanted to save the announcement for SDCC but someone forgot to tell the British Board of Film Classification.

[Side Note: Does the UK spell "peek" as "peak"?]

@HerculesJones - Certainly better than most, but was it competing with anything in particular to get made?

[frick] yes. Hopefully this is to a live-action Dark Universe film what Assault on Arkham was to David Ayer's Suicide Squad.

Please be like Justice League Gods and Monsters not like everything else DC animation has put out since Flashpoint. By that I mean utter crap movies.

@pesmerga44 - I'd really like another Wonder Woman feature like the one from 2009. One of the underrated gems from WB Animation, IMO.

@pesmerga44 - Assault on Arkham was great, and JL vs TT was decently good.

@LordDaredevil - Meh I found Assault on Arkham to be okay and Jl vs TT would have been better if the little piece of shit Damien wasn't in the movie. The fourth movie with Damien in it and he is the same piece of shit character he has always been.
