Sorry but to me this just looks stupid am i the only one here that doesnt believe a what 10 year old girl can beat the crap out of a bunch of adults . sorry but this does not compute . I am a grown man not to tall but i can bench about 260 lbs and not in a thousand years could i believe a 10 year old girl could beat the crap out of me .

@thunderforce: As someone who's seen the movie, yes, when you see what she does, you will believe that she could beat the crap out of you.

This isn't meant to be an absolutely 'realistic' portrayal of norms dressing up to fight crime though - that's a part of it and the base on which the film starts (and where it gets its humour and dramatic weight from), for sure, but it never lets that reality aspect get in the way of telling a kick-ass story. And it does just that.

It IS stupid at times (while still being very, very smart). But in a good way.

@thunderforce: I think Defendor is more the movie you're looking for. It's a nice little movie (not being sarcastic - it's a good film, much smaller in scale and ambition, but well written and acted) and much more grounded in reality than Kick-Ass.

It isn't nearly as much fun, but we wouldn't want you to have any more fun than you can 'believe in' would we? :)

doesn't really matter what you can bench if you're being cut up by knives. if anything, being bulky just makes you slower and easier to chop up. how many times have we heard of some cop having trouble restraining a kid.
