Interesting stuff...I just wish I knew when the graphic novel is coming out in the UK! I've read release dates ranging from 2 weeks ago up until 6 months from now!

I guess I'll be the voice of reason: The main character was a horrible choice. Why do they feel it necessary to take so many liberties (brown hair instead of blonde, costume changes) with a subject and source that is so easy to reproduce in real life? Other than the fact that the costume designers are trying to throw in their artistic flair because they failed to become real fashion designers.

Matthew Vaughan is a dick sure, but he is a cool dick, no questioning that. I mean they call each others no-no-words behind the scenes thats funny.

@ddrt: I think I recall Mark Millar working very close with Matthew Vaughan and the film production of his comicbook Kick-Ass, so I think it he has had a saying about the costumes. And since they did not go with the costumes and hairdues from the movie, then maybe it is because Mark Millar is okay with it and want to keep the two world seperate in their artistic forms.


I'm actually okay with change of names and haircolour, as long as the characters are portrayed right. And I'm okay with the costume changes of Hit-girl, Big Daddy and Kick-Ass. And I'm definitely down with the change of Red Mist's costume. It was so f'ing borring in the comics, at least this glam-rock crazy look has its charms

Oh this movie is gonna be so much fun!! I'm willing to put money on the fact that Christopher Mintz Plasse has a raging case of ADD. Every interview I see him in he reminds me of the kids in elementary school who had to stop by the nurse's station and take their meds after lunch.

Looks great, cool vid. The hair color is a ridiculous thing to moan about, seriously. Its also curlier than in the comic..does that mean the movie is going to be shit too? Please. Costumes are a slightly bigger deal but the only one that does bother me is Red Mist's simply because it goes against the character from the comic..as does the casting. I haven't seen the film so it could well work out but Red Mist is supposed to be ultimate cool..someone Kick Ass looks up to and envys...that doesn't scream McLovin in a Glam Rock get up to me, but we shall see.
