"I felt badass, but then I thought, what is the world going to think of me?" said Christopher Mintz Plasse. "They've only seen me in 'Superbad' and 'Role Models,' and I'm kind of a silly guy. Are they going to take me seriously in this? I'm hoping that that happens — we'll see!"

Aaron Johnson on the other hand had this to say: "I really enjoyed...the idea of this kid being sort of unique and original, and he thinks he's really cool. I loved it. The more ridiculous I looked, the better, you know? I always think that I looked like a green gummy bear."

"A green condom," Mintz-Plasse corrected him.

"It was a good laugh," replied Johnson. "I really enjoyed it."

Kick-Ass is out now in the UK and released on Friday in the US.
