THR report that joining Luke Evans, Dominic Cooper and Sarah Gadon in Universal's take on the legendary vampire are Samantha Barks, Art Parkinson and Thor Kristjansson. Apparently Barks will be playing a 'baba yaga', an Eastern European witch of folklore who was said to have devoured any children who wandered into her forest. Kristjansson will play 'Bright Eyes', a "vicious assassin in the Ottoman Army", and young Parkinson will appear as Dracula's son 'Ingeras'. Director Gary Shore is eyeing an August start in Belfast, and the movie has an August 8, 2014 release date.

Hmmm they're including Baba Yaga in this? strange.

Lol! I need to get more sleep. I thought this was news of additional casting for NBC's "Dracula."

If she is running around with vampires, her bark must be is as bad as her bite. :P
