To be honest, I cannot decided if I like a Halo TV series or a Halo Movie (I am sure they will have more than one movie)

imo neitha a tv show or movie franchise will be that great cuz the story isnt that great its gonna end up as an explosion movie with no plot but maybe im wrong but if they do make anythin it has a betta chance of bein good as a movie series

lol, is this seriously a one sentence article?? haha.

anyway, definately a movie. Adapting the Halo universe demands special effects to be a huge factor. people might argue that Battlestar Galactica was a space sci-fi epic, and i agree, but because it was on tv, the budget held back the special effects. That was my only problem with that show. So much so, that they even recycled the take off and landing sequences of the Raptors for an entire season.

I would hate for something like that to happen to Halo. Not to mention, there aren't a whole lot of things that happen in the games to warrant a full tv series. they could just adapt the games into movies and do the whole series with a high enough budget for the special effects that it deserves.

and man, seriously, one sentence?

@corndogburglar they would adapt the halo books for the movies not the games.so there is enuff for a tv series it jus wouldnt be that good as u stated.the games r based on the novels and the novels arent very interestin

@ yankeemanf

um, the games came out BEFORE the novels. so i'd have to say the novels are based on the games. plus, it says right on the covers of the novels, "Based on the hit Xbox game." lol. the novels just give a background to characters in game. all 3 novels came out after the first game, and before the 2nd. But the 2nd and 3rd games have absolutely nothing to do with what happens in the novels.

and what makes you think they would adapt the novels? I wouldn't mind, but i think they would do a little of both because there are WAY more people that played the games than read the novels.

@ yankeeman

in fact, the 2nd novel are the events of the first Halo game. The 1st novel is Master Chief training and becoming a Spartan. and the 3rd is them attacking the Covenant. But it doesn't even end the war or anything.

A tv show like Stargate could work. Either way I don't care, but I want Adam Baldwin as Master Chief.
