Isn't there a Power man in Marvel cause it used to be luke cage.

Theres already an Amazing-Man from DC

So you hit a couple of naming problems there.

Rather then Stories of amazing I would have gone with Amazing Stories simpler but roles off the tongue easier.

But other wise go for it and can't wait to see some art work.

found out there used to be amazing comics in japan.

so you would have to change the whole name of your comic brand.

seems a little redundant to be honest and then tales of amazing - tales of the amazing? - also the logos kind of look like they were made with wordart although i haven't used that for years so i dont know haha

@jazzman

True it may have stopped production but the publisher would still most likely have the amazing comic name copyrighted or trademarked which would enable them to still make a claim if he seriously wanted to publish the comics.

Just a heads up dude, simply putting the "TM" or trademark symbol next to a title does not make it yours, as has already been stated, you dont own some of those names.

How do plan on going about doing this. I'm trying to self publish and make my own comics too.

Right now i'm just dedicated to working on my art to a point where I think i can tell the stories on want to tell. I'm figuring out things about anatomy and perspective (it's hard)

My advice to you would be just to star out on one comic and see how it works. Don't plan this far ahead. Also: make your books cheap. Use cheap paper. I think it'll help draw people to buying it
(that's my plan 1.99 30 page books made on newspaper like material)
