Avengers Trailer Video Analysis

I do my best to analyze the Avengers trailer to find some plot details and speculate on the implications of what is shown.

It's kind of long-winded and I don't make any brilliant discoveries, but I think I bring some decent insight.

I must give credit where it is due. Thanks to Josh Wilding for spotting Stark Tower.

You're paying attention.. Nice analysis

-Stark definitely came from out of the water in that last scene though. Makes me wonder how he got there.

-I agree on Hulk's new look. #WINNING and (YES) It is very interesting to think about the last scene in (TIH) how Banner was smiling before the transformation. Now that Loki is in the picture, it kind of changes the possibilities of why that happened..

Thanks watching blvdnoise. Nice observation about the water. If I were to guess, I'd say he gets knocked there by something powerful in the middle of a battle, and is flying back toward the city where the battle is taking place.

Thanks, MrReese. Whatever he is flying next to leaves a trail, so I think it's the quinjet.

i read on an earlier article a while back that Thor basically crashes the party.
he didn't come invited and found Loki in SHIELD custody.
he then tore the place apart to "apprehend" his brother.

granted that was a rumor i read a while back but it does have some weight to it.
it would explain why Thor is attacking Cap in the woods to begin with.

at the end of Thor, he couldn't get back to Midgard. we all know he gets back, but what if he showed up in the woods? SHIELD sent Cap, Widow, and maybe Hawkeye to investigate and maybe they find a pissed off Thor.

Joss Whedon, director, already expressed how this movie is about a clash of personalities. this would be a great way to kick things off.

Thanks for the info/theory Wadey09! Sounds interesting and very plausible.

@BIGBMH: nice job man! really good stuff, although I think that might be a missle Iron Man is flying next to, it seems too small for the Quin Jet

Wadey: That's a good theory, I thought those were the woods where Hulk was hidding (and it still could be maybe?) But if you're correct, that's going to be an awesome show down

Thanks 3BT! The reason I was leaning toward the Quin Jet was because he seemed to be flying ahead of it, not chasing it down. But it is a bit small.

other noters:

- The walls around Loki's first appearance look similar to the area at the end of Captain America, where the cube was with Fury.
- Fury has a boner when exiting the chopper, now you can't un-see it.
- why does Bruce's hut have 2 chairs? could Loki be visiting/influencing him? One looks broken however.
-Loki in shield custody, looks to be passing the heroes while they are in that room arguing/planning/whatever.
-Cap's hood looks like it's his cowl 'folded' inside out. Anyone who wears a hoodie knows it's hard to have a hood stick out and keep that defined shape when it's on your back.
-Loki strangling Stark scene's location looks eerily similar to Stark's house in California.

I don't want to seem like I'm taking over your article, just opening some more discussion

Nice video article.
I think Loki is in SHIELD custody only because he allowed it.
I actually like your notion where Thor feels responsible for Loki and his actions. Also, I was kind of wandering how Thor could travel to Midgard and since Loki does appear to be able to travel between realms by some means than perhaps Thor follows Loki. Perhaps Thor does not feel like anybody should directly confront Loki other than himself. I also like the new look of the Hulk and it makes sense since the CGI artists have generally based the look of the Hulk on the actor playing Bruce.

I also had the idea that perhaps SHIELD bring in Bruce not just because they need the Hulk, but maybe they might need Bruce himself and his scientific knowledge. Marvel is always about science and maybe Bruce fills the part of scientist.

Thanks for watching 6of13. I feel like they might want Banner's knowledge, but it's hard to imagine them not being interested in the Hulk as well.

you made a remark around 11:25-11:30 in your video about the weapon Loki has in the trailer not being the same as the one in Thor. However, in the Avengers trailer, at 1:11, you seen the same weapon in the room where Tony and Cap argue, so its very logical that Loki does indeed let himself get captured by SHIELD to get his hands on it.
