Bone Picked Up By Warner Bros.

Jeff Smith's indie comic book Bone has been picked up by Warner Bros. for a film adaptation.

The Hollywood Reported says Warner Bros. is bringing Boneto the big screen.

Bone, created by Jeff Smith is a fantasy series where three while bald human like creatures run away from home to a mysterious valley where they are seperated and hunted. A girl named Thorn and her grandmother take the creatures in and together they find that the Lord of Locusts threatens the valley.

The series ran from 1991-2004, and has sold more than a million copies so far. It has not been decided whether Bone will be live action or animated.

Perviously Nickelodeon Films was set to adapat an animated version hoping to turn the story into a pop song kid oriented film but because of that plans fell through.
