I read online that Samuel L. Jackson isn't the only one to sign a nine picture deal. Chris Evans has also signed a nine picture deal to appear as Captain America in three Captain America movies, The Avengers and any sequels and the rest are unknown. This would make Evans the only actor to appear in 14 Comic Book Movies, what a resume.

The Comic Book Movies we've seen him in
#1-Fantastic Four
#2-Fantastic Four:Rise of The Silver Surfer
#3-Push
#4-Scott Pilgrim vs The World
#5-The Losers
The two we are certain of
#6-Captain America:First Avenger
#7-The Avengers
Now that leaves 7 movies that Cap could appear in and here are the choices
-Iron Man 3?
-The Incredible Hulk sequel(s)?
-Nick Fury?
-SHEILD?
-Thunderbolts?
-Runaways?
-Avengers sequel(s)?
-Captain America First Avenger sequel(s)?
-Iron Fist?Luke Cage?Heroes for Hire?
-Hawkeye?
-Black Widow?
-Ant-Man?
-Winter Soldier?
-Black Panther?
Heres what I hope it would be
#8-The Avengers 2
#9-The Avengers 3
#10-Ant Man
#11-Nick Fury
#12-Iron Man 3
#13-Runaways
#14-Black Panther

He is signed foer a nine picture deal Captain America Trilogy, Avengers Trilogy, and three other appearances which will most likely be small cameos

I think these contracts are just there so Marvel can approach actors in the future with a lot less hassle and ease - especially big names in relatively small cameos.

SLJ and CE are only signed up to appear in a certain number of films - what those films are have yet to be decided but Marvel now have their asses covered in approaching these actors because they know they have agreed fees, etc.

I don't think you can plan as far as 9 pictures with any great certainty because there are so many factors that get involved and can derail things.

Long contracts can hopefully overcome some of these logistcal probs. But in reality there now seems to be no problem with the possibility for either Fury or Cap America appearing in ANY Marvel Studios property that they see fit.

@ Paulley - they seem the most likely choices. Be interesting to see where the small cameos end up tho.

Those are the roles we geeks love to get crazy about. I think possibly SHIELD based heros. Black Widow, Hawkeye, Ant-man, etc.

I think we may see a Black Widow/Hawkeye team up movie.

I was also wondering if Hawkeye is already a memember of SHIELD in The Avengers or if, he too, is recruited. I could see him being part of the US Army and SHIELD having to approach Ross in order to get their hands on him.

I think there is going to be S.H.I.E.L.D. movie but not specifically a Nick Fury one.. though obviously he will be a centric character in it.

He's only signed for six, according to the recent Entertainment Weekly article.

They OFFERED him nine, but he was afraid to commit to that many films. He now only has to appear in a Cap trilogy and an Avengers trilogy.

Which isn't to say he won't eventually agree to cameos, but he's not signed to do any at this point.

NINE WOULD BE MORE OF A SAFTEY NET FOR MARVEL 2 USE HIM..BUT I HEARD 6 PIC DEAL ALSO..I WONDER IF SMALL CAMEOS COUNT...

AS FAR AS HAWKEYE I THINK HE WILL ALREADY BE ANOTHER SHIELD AGENT LIKE WIDOW..JUST NOT SEEN UNTIL THINGS GET LIL CRAZY

@MaxJaybo: wouldnt that be an 8 picture deal as he is appeared in both Iron Man films aswell... if anything he will most likely appear in IM3 which completes his 9 picture deal (if he goes on to apear in the rest of the cap and avengers trilogys)
