Levitikuz - Reddit is a site of links. people post links to websites, articles, or pictures. There is a system of karma, where content is upvoted or downvoted (supposedly based on relevance) to go to the top of the page. the amount of upvotes vs downvotes are recorded as karma. There are individual subreddits about just about everything you can think of. Reddit can be difficult to get into because a lot of the jokes are about other things on reddit, and there is a lot of gross things. My advice is to get the Reddit Enhancement Suite app for your browser so you can see pictures in the page without linking, and make an account so you can unsubscribe unwanted subreddits like WTF which contains lots of horrible images.

well now we can actually respond to each other and reply in discussions, but only on the subreddit. Will it have all/most of the information that is on this site? If so, what would be the point of continuing this site?

WARNING: when mattspen says reddit is the PG version of 4chan, he is being relative. If you go on reddit and expect not to see some inappropriate stuff, you're in for a surprise.

I'm not very familiar with Reddit. I have been recommended by a friend to check it out, but I honestly have no purpose for it. Not yet, at least. Neat developments.

There already exists a comic book movie subreddit. So, how do you plan to compete with reddit.com/r/comicbookmovies
