Previous battles:

Blade beat Black Canary...

Luke Cage beat Savage Dragon, but he's not going to fight this round because I can't find a good match for him.

Abomination beat Lobo only by one single vote...

As always use most iconic version, and vote objectively.

Ozymandias vs Blade

Abomination vs Thing

I couldn't find a match for Cage, and we have a Marvel vs Marvel match above, so I'm doing a DC vs DC match as well.

Deathstroke vs Lady Shiva

Thanks for reading and voting, please leave your opinion in the comments.

Cage beat Savage Dragon? That's just silly. Dude's healing factor is greater than even Wolverine's on his most extremely over-written day, plus SD's stronger, much faster, more agile... I dig Cage but no way would he have won this fight. But then folks would know that if they had familiarized themselves more with the character.

Anyway...

Blade vs Ozy - Ozy's out of his league on this one. Blade doesn't seem to get the credit he truly deserves; having the abilities of a vampire his speed alone would be beyond Ozy's ability to visually track, plus Blade's got just as much martial arts training (if not more) and physically he's far stronger and is an ace shot. Ozy, on the other hand, couldn't even permanently put down Rorschach or Nite Owl II, both of whom weren't near as skilled as Ozy himself was. And while I'm sure someone will mention Ozy's strategic ability, keep in mind it took him twenty years to plan and execute his globe-saving scheme, and I highly doubt Blade would wait around twenty years for Ozy to come up with a fight plan.

Abomination vs Thing -- love ol' Benji, and I really wish he'd get the kind of power boost less appealing characters have been given over the years, but he'd lose this one after a prolonged fight. He'd give it his all -- he always does -- but I think ultimately Bommie's superior endurance and strength tip the scale in his favor.

Lady Shiva vs Deathstroke -- Shiva's got mad skills but so does DS, plus he's physically and mentally enhanced. DS by knock-out.

Noted. That sounds like a good match, Lex is such an underrated martial artist. I'll slip it in when I can.

Blade vs Oyzmandias

Blade wins, like I always say you put the Watchmen crew against other comicbook heroes and more often then not they would lose.

Abomination vs Thing

Abomination wins,he's a calm Hulk with full control Thing would only be delaying the inevitable.Plus alot of Thing amazing feats is due to his team work with the Fantastic Four. His greatest achievement is beating the champion of the universe by only refusing to stay down.

Deathstroke vs Lady Shiva

Deathstroke wins,Lady Shiva is an excellent martial artist one of the best in the DCU but I think Deathstroke could still managed to win after a long match.

Love this new argument of people not knowing much about the character to make an accurate vote. One could say that about every b and c-list characters in these fights. It's just funny how these fights bring out the inner child in people;)

@LoudLon & Worlbreaker
I agree that Dragon should've won the fight, but you must agree that it was in fact very close.

Dragon is stronger, but not by much. 30 tons and 25 at that point it's not a huge difference. Also that Cage is nigh invulnerable. I think Savage Dragon would win, but you can't possibly tell me that you think it'd be easy....

I don't think it's childish at all to point out that some folks need to brush up on their characters, particularly since that lack of knowledge affects vote totals. Some even said in that vote that they weren't very familiar with Dragon. If they had been, they'd know that Cage's steel-like skin would have only protected him for so long before Dragon wore him down with his superior strength, speed, agility and skill. If he can convincingly beat down Badrock, he could beat down Luke Cage. If you're not familiar with a character, the proper thing to do would be to refrain from voting until you ARE familiar with the character. How is that childish?

Fenix -- Erik Larsen's said Dragon's in the 35-40 ton range; that makes him at minimum 40% stronger than Cage. Just sayin'.

Keep up the good work though, man. I love the more diverse set of characters you've been introducing. :)

Part of the fun for me in this series is learning about the characters I don't know much about. It doesn't take much to wiki most of them.

I agreed Loud about Ben. I believe I was one of the few who liked his mutated power up back in the 90s. I would also go as far as to say I wish they would give the Abomination back his original power level. I've always been fascinated by the character, but quite frankly after the first story he's just turned into a pathetic punching bag for the Incredible Hulk. Heck, I would wager most people on this site don't even know what he was capable of doing before Banner reduced his power levels. Heck when I think about it nobody knows, because we never got to see that Abomination get developed.

@SpideyQuad -- I remember Ben's temporary power boost back then, but then I also remember that horrible mutated "triangular" look, too lol

It's just frustrating, being a fan of the character, knowing what he's capable of, yet always seeing him get his ass whooped by characters who shouldn't be able to do so. Just once I'd like to see him knock out the Hulk; hell, Doc Samson did it with one punch once, and he's not as strong or as skilled a fighter as Grimm.

LOL, so true on both accounts. I agree the look definitely needed some work, but I did enjoy the power boost.

I think that's one of the reasons why I didn't like secret wars, was because of that lame girl that Dr. Doom seem to just conveniently make more powerful than Ben. Well, at least Spiderman kicked her butt later on. Heck, Rick Jones is more powerful than Benjamin Grim now

^^^ Yeah, Titania was that chick's name. The beating Spidey gave her left her an emotional wreck, to the point where she'd freak out just at the mention of his name. Then a couple years later Spider-Man kicked her ass again, and even worse, as well as her then-boyfriend The Absorbing Man's.

Ah, those were the days. Back when Spidey was an undisputed bad-ass...
