Check Out The First Teaser & Poster For PRIDE AND PREJUDICE AND ZOMBIES

Lizzie Bennett & Mr. Darcy are teaming up to take on the undead - because why not?! Lionsgate have released the first teaser for their big screen adaptation of the best-selling novel from Seth Grahame-Smith (recently tipped to direct The Flash). Watch it after the jump!

Lionsgate have released the first official teaser and poster for Pride And Prejudice And Zombies. Starring Lily James (Cinderella) as Elizabeth Bennett and Sam Riley (Maleficent) as Mr. Darcy, it presents Jane Austen's beloved costume drama... with one small twist. Based on this tease, it looks like it could be a lot of fun - and it has a talented ensemble on board (including former Doctor Who Matt Smith & Game Of Thrones' duo Charles Dance and Lena Headey).

However, if the sight of eighteenth-century women tearing zombies to shreds doesn't quite do it for you, then it may be worth watching for Seth Grahame-Smith's involvement alone. The popular author wrote the novel of the same name, and was tipped to both write and direct WB's big screen take on The Flash earlier this week. This should give fans a better look at his talents.

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is a fresh twist on Jane Austen’s widely celebrated novel. A mysterious plague has fallen upon 19th century England, the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry. Casting aside personal and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another.

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies hits theatres February 5, 2016.

The other day I had to watch Joe Wright's Pride & Prejudice for a film class.

As I was watching it, I thought "you know what this film needs? Zombies". Looks like genie granted my wish.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was a good movie idea. Unfortunately the people who made it didn't realize the book was a joke and wasn't supposed to be taken seriously.
