COSMOS' Neil deGrasse Tyson Narrates "Everything Wrong With GRAVITY"

Gravity brought Alfonso Cuaron ("Children of Men") an Oscar for Best Director, but it also brought him plenty of criticism from astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson ("Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey"). Come listen to him point out everything wrong with the film.

Plot Summary: Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone--tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth...and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.

GRAVITY was directed By Alfonso Cuarón ("Children Of Men") and the screenplay was written by him, Jonas Cuarón and Rodrigo García. The cast includes: Sandra Bullock as Ryan Stone, George Clooney as Matt Kowalsky and Basher Savage as space station captain.

A 14-year-old could have told me the logical flaws in this film but it's a sci-fi film, science-FICTION. It's not a documentary or educational film, it's meant to entertain.

Science fiction does not mean that the science itself has to be fictional people. The best science fiction is the stuff that is based on something possible or at least highly plausible. Honestly, people that have no clue about science should stay away from science fiction, they only end up creating mindless drek.

If there is anybody that can make CinemaSins even more obnoxious than it already is, it's Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

Lol I've seen more people on here complaining over fictional comic book shit than I've seen him complain about scientific accuracy. Let the man live.
