IESB reports that Marvel Studios is working on adapting "Doctor Strange" for the big screen and pitching the project to potential directors.

"Doctor Strange" follows the brilliant neurosurgeon Stephen Strange. He's an arrogant man who's career is ended when an accident damages the nerves in his hands. In pursuit of a cure he travels to the Himalayas seeking the Ancient One, a Tibetan Sorcerer. Dr. Strange becomes the Scorcerer Surpreme.

There is currently an animated film from Marvel coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this week, it was recently shown at Comic-Con in San Diego.
