Holy nuts. Eastwood directing Jonah Hex would rock beyond measures.

How about David Fincher directing Deadpool, or Batman?

Zack Snyder is the Ryan Reynolds of directors nowadays.

I've liked all his movies so far. It would be interesting to see what he would do with a CBM with history and multiple story arcs.

I've seen 300 and Watchmen, not DOTD, and I do love those movies, but, frankly, it's become so extreme with Snyder-love that it is irritating.

Every day an article about a possible future CBM a comment is bound to appear campaigning for Snyder to helm it. I've seen Superman, Punisher, Justice League, Batman, Deadpool, I've even heard Fantastic Four somewhere.

What I find most irritating, however, is that Snyder hasn't done a CBM based on years of continuity and canon, yet I see people proclaiming that he'd be perfect for those types of movies and that there is no other choice even when he hasn't done one like it yet.

If I didn't hear his name suggested for CBM after CBM, I wouldn't have that big a problem with him. This is the same exact problem I have with Johnny Depp. I hear Depp's name cast as Dr. Strange, Jor-El, Lex Luthor, General Zod, Riddler, Ghost Rider, etc. I just hate seeing him mentioned for so many roles, it's annoying.

So yeah, that's my beef with people wanting him to direct every CBM (or even movie in general) these days, and, by extension, my problem with Johnny Depp. Sorry if I sounded a bit intense there, just wanted to make my point. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle :)

@Tyler-Gosh, who would we talk about if there was no Snyder, Depp, Reynolds, or Worthington?

Dogs: Gerard Butler ;)

He's one suggestion away from Worthington/Reynolds territory...

Him or Megan Fox :)

Not sure about Kubrick for X Men..but I could certainly see the others. Cool choices.

Ozy, do you actually believe that Letterier would make a better Avengers movie than Stephen frakkin Spielberg?

Wow, I just shat myself at the idea of all of them. Martin doing Daredevil would be a dream come true. James Cameron is PERFECT for F4 with a Inhuman's tie-in.

Seriously, DEL TORO doing DR. STRANGE. I can picture him making a SCARY ass Dormammu. I don't know why, but I can see Spike Jones doing Alpha Flight or Brian Singer doing Captain Marvel.
