DreamWorks Bringing THE DAMNED To The Big Screen

Screenwriter David DiGilio has been tapped by DreamWorks to adapt Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt's graphic novel "The Damned."

"The Damned" from Oni Press is a horror noir tale following a Los Angeles detective that finds a new gang with supernatural ties infiltrating the city.

DiGilio previously wrote "Eight Below" for Disney and was created "The Traveler" for ABC.

Walter Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are producing via their DreamWorks-based shingle along with Eric Gitter via his Closed on Mondays Entertainment which is the film production arm of Oni Press Mark. Peter Schwerin will exec produce.
