Little-known Devil's Due comic may make it to the big screen!

Xombie is based on a Devil's Due comic book by James Farr, itself based on his online animated series. Farr's creation centers on a zombie cop named Dirge who attempts to saves humanity's remnants, particularly a young girl called Zoe, from of course evil zombies. DreamWorks is in negotiations to buy the script by cop-turned-writer Will Beall, with Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci in talks to produce the project.

Cindi Rice and John Frank Rosenblum of Epic Level Entertainment would executive produce along with Kurtzman/Orci's Bobby Cohen and Steven T. Puri.

Will Beall is also adapting his debut novel "L.A. Rex," it's about a policeman patrolling the gang-ridden area of the 77th Division in South Los Angeles, for producer Scott Rudin.

LEEE777 - It seem's zombies and comic books are all the rage in Hollywood, so this will be a perfect match me thinks lol! What do you all think?

good find Lee, sorry about the double post. I deleated mine cause I saw Lee posted it before me. I know your cool about it. But Captain America gets all angry and starts pounding his keyboard, and making mean faces at his computer monitor, man, someone should tell him to relax and just chill, cause at the end of the day and even during it, were all just a couple of guys sitting around the internet. Get out and mow the lawn Captain America, or something, jeez!!

I loved this series. James Farr was speaking about a movie since he made episode 4. What's it been? 4 years?
whatever, i like his style and xombie deserves a movie.

I just saw that you can only view the first 5 episodes now. Glad i saw the rest when they were up.
Mr.Farr, you want that movie, forget that DVD and let others watch the rest of the show.

What you're saying here is completely true. I know that everybody must say the same thing but I just think that you put it in a way that everyone can understand.
