Well there comes a time when a hero must rise to the challenge or end up failing to the challenge miserably. Whether it's a win loose situation there will always be an outcome to pay for the price of destruction caused. This is where I turn the tides over to discuss about WB and their need to bombard television screens with as much DC comics properties they can stuff in now. Is it just to please the fans and make up for their own lacking effort when it comes to big screen debuts which the Superman and Batman pattern is still going strong? DC heroes being seen on the television majorly isn't entirely new in fact a major rise was seen beginning in the early decade with Superman being first seen and popularized through that medium. Surprisingly then after Superman succeed there were attempts to bring out more heroes throughout television, and the only other one being Batman surpassed. Those decades where the dark days as it seemed animated heroes where more popular than live action. It wasn't until the beginning of the 2000's the new age of television began kicking in. Including the start of Smallville which began the hipster hero trend.

Which brings us into present day with Arrow after that massive failure. Does Arrow emulate the same formula as Smallville? No it doesn't but that doesn't excuse it from being less "hipsterish". Yes Arrow wants to suddenly throw everything at you right now. Now we have The Flash just like how Smallville decided to bring in some heroes when it was getting boring. Is Arrow going to lead anywhere though? No it's not going to lead anywhere at all. Since Arrow is therefore not connected to the DCCU there is a big lost chance on that part. On the Marvel side right now we have Agents of Shield which on credit is actually a show that is connected to their current film universe. Once Arrow is done it will be done for good. Just like how WB could have made a Justice League film years ago but they decided to focus on some pointless Batman and Superman spin off films which led nowhere. As great as Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight stuff was *plop* it's done and forgotten. As Arrow is going to fall along the same path now. Now WB is pushing for more television heroes which will lead? You guessed it alright, NOWHERE AT ALL!

All this is for is just sentimental value for a few years then kicking the dust bucket by the time your excitement levels have given off. DC needs to make a live action show that connects to their film universe as Marvel has done now. Not disconnecting them from it entirely. Confusion alert now we are going to have 2 entirely different live action version's of The Flash at the same time, one version on television and one in film. Hello WB, wake up! They next major problem with the way they are handling these heroes is that they are trying to make it too much Nolanized taking the fun out of them. Again treading into some really new and hipster grounds. What is with the CW anyway is the CW the place for heroes!? The CW belongs to shirtless guys and a group of fan girls audience it's not for comic books.

Should I get started on the failed 2011 Wonder Woman pilot I mean what the hell where they even thinking. So is this the kind of quality they wanted to crap out to the fans directly. It shows how out of tune they are with this character and how by god are we supposed to trust them with handling a simple hero! If Hercules can be made into a television series then making a proper version of Wonder Woman isn't impossible!

WB is doing this all wrong, everything is just so wrong about this. Marvel is getting some shows up on Netflix in 2015! Netflix people the place of unlimited and godly possibilities! What is WB doing sticking on smaller TV channels. What is a Batman TV show doing on Fox who also owns Marvel properties? Fox is going to cancel that crap without skipping a beat by the time the first episode airs. An Hourman TV Series? Who the hell cares about Hourman does anyone seriously care at all or anybody who loves comic books in general. Young Justice series on CW like they need more teen crap on their channel for people to care about. The only television biz they are good at is animation not live action. This is an entire mess. Marvel has their stuff together why not them. When Arrow is over no one is going to be talking about it ever. When Agents of Shield is over it will continue on within the Marvel Cinematic Universe they have created. Big difference right there!

I bet some comic book writers over at DC is screaming their heads off at WB for this. What next a gay Green Lantern television series. Oh wait that wouldn't be so bad at all wouldn't it considering them! So express your comments and opinions below. I'm outta here peace. #YOUAREFAILINGWBDC

This song is dedicated to WB/DC. Because someone really needs to save them!

Nah, arrow is better than most CB TV shows. I don't think DC is failing, they're winning right now if you ask me

Just because AOS is connected to the MCU that makes it good?? DC failing?? How many Emmy winning cartoon shows does Marvel have?? How many shows that have been on air for ten years??

Yeah, you got some points there but, I enjoy Arrow WAY more than AoS. I remember watching The Flash and Lois and Clark TV shows growing up and I liked them then. Smallville was decent to start out with but I hung in there to hopefully see it turn around, never did. I am happy to see that the WW show didn't pan out though. I believe Arrow has got them on the right track now and hope to see many new shows follow with the same success.

I've also wanted a Daredevil show for a long time now and like the formula they are creating with Netflix. I guess AoS seems too campy and doesn't really take its self that serious. Like the Marvel flims it has just a little too much humor in it. I'll still watch cause hey, I'm a Marvel guy after all.

Things don;t have to be connected to be good or matter. For example, Agents of Shield is connected, when I watch it I find myself bored and cringing, no one I know watches it, and those that do or had, hate it or are planning on quitting if it doesn't get better. Arrow is not connected, when I watch it, I am interest in almost all the plots, and I talk about it to people after I see it.

Shows aren't about leading to bigger worlds, or movies, it's about how good it is. If DC made exclusively else world movies from her on out, as long as they were good movies, I'd be dandy with it.

Continuity doesn't make something good, and inversely lack of continuity doesn't make something bad.

Arrow is the best comic based tv show of all time. The only one that even compared is 1977's The Incredible Hulk.

On a side note, Agents of SHIT...er I mean SHIELD is among the worst comic based shows I've ever seen. Worse than Smallville by far...

Okay, from reading his other articles, not sure if he's serious or being sarcastic. If he is being serious, this is a really stupid article, if for no other reason then because we don't know if Arrow will be connected to MoS or not.

Arrow isn't just the best comic book TV show, but it is one of the best TV shows on currently. The characters are fun, the acting is good (for the most part), and the action is movie quality. Marvel is spanking DC in the movie realm why can't you let DC have this one?
