Marvel has been dominating the film universe with the MCU in full gear on to Phase 2 now. With the success of The Avengers, Marvel has released their first tie in TV Show to conclude in the universe which is Agents of SHIELD. Now their is more reasons to be excited as four more connected MCU shows have been announced and which means more heroes could be introduced! As the fans speculate on the obvious choices that may be I take another look at a side that Marvel may explore. We know Marvel greatly wants to expand their universe in different ways for a wider audience appeal, check cause that is a main point to look at. Second of all television is one of the greater mediums of media to do so, another check for that point. Last of all and importantly, these television shows they will introduce needs to be of a friendly nature. Since Disney owns Marvel now being friendly is a key word. You can't over do on the violence and the themes. Hence the four most possible and likely ideas Marvel would bring to television.
: So the idea is that it takes place after the first Captain America movie. With the Red Skull gone Hydra needs a new successor and some dude as crazy as the Red Skull. Then they find out the Red Skull has a mentally retarded son played by Ashton Kutcher who is currently being held in an asylum on Shutter Island. Some guys from Hydra break him out of there and find out he is crazier than he looks. He is immediately given the keys to Hydra and chosen to further lead them. So Kutcher's character now this crazy psychopath evil leader sends Hydra on these crazy missions every episode to take out these bullies who bullied him who have become evil tyrants of these countries. Then chaos ensues and a lot of comedic carnage along with the introduction of Bob, Agent of HYDRA who becomes the top Hydra agent.
NUMBER 2 - The Adventures of Darcy!: Since the character of Darcy is going to given a bigger role in Thor The Dark World that means a lot and a possibility of a television show now that Marvel realizes her popularity! Think of Inception meets Reality Television. For every episode the viewers are tuned in to Darcy’s craziest dreams involving society and popularity issues and fantasies involving Thor! Then in every episode there is a Leonardo DiCaprio look alike that plots to steal her dreams with this torture machine and he has teleportation powers. He also has a giant floating spaceship above Earth that looks like the Star Trek enterprise and Bryan Cranston plays Darcy’s best friend who is this creepy dude at a hot dog stand. Darcy also likes to eat hot dog’s too.
NUMBER 3 – The Happy Punisher: It takes place in the future where guns have been outlawed and world peace has been put in place. The streets are quiet and everything is calm with the sun singing happily and rainbows in the sky blooming. People hold hands together and they dance among the willow trees. The Punisher played by Alec Baldwin is now a mascot for a children’s cartoon called “Rainbow Judgment” where it stars himself riding a unicorn around a city touching sad people and instantly making them happy! Then one day a giant purple teddy bear falls from the sky and lands in The Punisher’s apartment. Then suddenly a cloud of pink smoke appears and in a matter of seconds the purple teddy bear turns into a real bear! He stands on two legs with a pink vest and a purple hat. He says his name is Cuddly Charms and he is searching for the happiest kids in the world to bring love and joy to! So The Punisher takes a break from being a mascot and helps Cuddly Charms on a world wide adventure!
NUMBER 4 – Marvel Zombies: With the popularity of The Walking Dead one thing everyone needs the most is another zombie TV show! So why not an adaptation of Marvel Zombies. Well sort of. The show takes place in a post apocalyptic world and all the heroes have been turned into ravenous hungry zombies. Then these group of ordinary people led by Aaron Paul band together to take them out! So for every episode they encounter a zombie hero or a group of them, then in the series finale they encounter a zombie version of The Avengers! It’s a super ultra violent TV show that would cater to a lot of audiences. Come on people zombie’s are awesome who wouldn’t want to see their favorite characters like Iron Man get turned into a zombie then getting killed off! It would be an entirely great decision which could lead into a possible Avengers movie.
Well the future is endless everyone. Ideas and possibilities are the way imagination goes beyond what people normally think. Hopefully Marvel realizes what I have written and this becomes greatly in tune with reality. Please also comment and leave your thoughts/opinions below!
