Hello Everyone. It has been said Man of Steel is the start of something greater in terms of DC Comics in films. Finally the start of a true cinematic universe in vein of Marvel. Warner Bros has come together once again with the recent announcements of Wonder Woman and The Flash in the next film alongside Batman. As many have said this is the real starting point of the DC Cinematic Film Universe, but they are wrong. What if I told you there has already been films made within the same universe. What if I also said there has been films made which takes place alongside a parallel universe in conjunction to that universe. I have an interesting theory in mind. An aspect which suddenly came to me. Keep in mind these films I am mentioning are also produced by the same company Warner Bros. All of these points do come in relative turns.

Alternate Universes: An "Alternate Universe" can be defined as a universe in which if the events were really coinciding along the actual universe it in play it would seem possible.

WATCHMEN: The keyword within Watchmen is "superheroes". They do exist in that exact timeline. The decade being the 1980s. As there was a reference to the word "superman" within the film I would consider it under the lines of an alternate universe in the DCCU. Many of the heroes do parallel what the Justice League are.

THE TERMINATOR SERIES: Even though both Batman and Superman have clashed against Terminator's together in the comics I could safely call this an alternate universe. The reality of Skynet is more true to life than we believe. Also the fact one of the many people behind the creation of Skynet itself is Lex Luthor.

MARS ATTACKS!: The film dives more into the true fear of what paranoia is unlike any other. It takes into account what fear is. To know also that a few elements of Man of Steel mirrors this film entirely. For example as in Man of Steel we were shown General Zod's message to Earth, the aliens in MARS ATTACKS! communicates in a similar manner using a universal translator also.

Same Universe: Coinciding in the same universe as Man of Steel and further on ahead in the DCCU.

300 and 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE: In our reality 300 maybe inaccurate but within the DCCU it is actual history in terms of events. Consider this fact, in the film Man of Steel there is a sports team called "The Smallville Spartans". With the recent casting of Wonder Woman also it is common knowledge her back story does heavily involve Greek mythology hence 3OO: Rise of An Empire being a chapter within that own mythology.

SHERLOCK HOLMES (Guy Ritchie Films): It's no surprise DC has their own version of Sherlock Holmes. Also no surprise being the Guy Ritchie version of Sherlock Holmes merges itself within the realms of Batman. Giving a more personal connection between the characters. These two excellent sleuths are a perfect paring altogether.

YES MAN: Yes Man is a Jim Carrey starring comedy which follows a man who joys his opportunity to say YES! What is more interesting is the name of his character, "Carl Allen". Could he be, related to Barry Allen? For this it is a major possibility.

NINJA ASSASSIN: The ninjas within the film "Ninja Assassin" closely mimics the League of Shadows, a lot. Even a major Ra's al Ghul inspired villain at the end of the film or could it have been Ra's al Ghul himself in another film. There is even a character named Miko both in the film and in DC comics. Either way this over the top blood spattered ninja masterpiece definitely takes a spot within the DCCU now.

THE HANGOVER SERIES: In the events of The Hangover films in short summary, total chaos and mayhem. The first film deemed one of the funniest comedies of the decade it is to wonder why take a risk into making a film such as this. Also with the audience having no idea this is also connected to the DCCU. Why and how is this possible? One of the names of the main characters to appear in the film is Doug Billings. Isn't it interesting Delbert Billings also known as Spellbinder was a major Batman villain who fell under the same name?

PARALLEL UNIVERSES: These universes would be defined as such in their relations to mythology and magic: THE HARRY POTTER SERIES, THE LORD OF THE RINGS/HOBBIT SERIES, and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY

I would like to think Mr. Mom starring Michael Keaton could be an alternate universe to Bruce Wayne if his parents had lived
