ugh, i dont know about this, the made for tv documentary film they did like 10 years ago was very very good, Michael Chiklis was a great curly

Sean Hayes seems like a very odd casting choice! he will always be Jack Mcfarland! or JUST JACK!

I hope they don't screw this up. I have fond memories of watching reruns of the Stooges and the Little Rascals on Sunday mornings when I was a kid.

@nuck - I sorta remember that tv movie. It was kind of like the one they did about Three's Company a few years ago.

I have faith in this movie, although I think the orginal attached cast of Sean Penn, Jim Carey, and Bencio Del Toro would have made this movie epic. The Farrelly brothers have yet to disapoint when they are both writing and directing the films.

Am I the only one who isn't pissed off when looking at this picture?

Damn. I hadn't heard anything about this in quite a while, and was hopeful that meant that this cinematic abortion had been chucked in the clinic dumpster. I am a HUGE fan of the original Stooges (I even like a lot of Shemp's appearances), but this thing just sounds like a horrible idea all around. Why is this even being made?

I wouldn't be so opposed to this movie if it was approached as three guys doing Stooge-style humor. That humor, written and performed right, is timeless, and Lord knows, there is a LOT of stuff in the modern world that could provide fodder for some hilarious Stooge-style slapstick. My objection to this is that they are casting these guys to portray three REAL PEOPLE. You can't reboot real people. These also aren't characters that can be recast. I also understand that the "humor" in this movie is going to be a lot raunchier than the real Stooges ever did. STUPID. The real Stooges didn't need to be filthy to be funny. This is a cinematic train wreck waiting to happen.

this movie is going to suck. not even the insane hotness of Sofia can save this train wreck. how the hell do you start out with a reported cast of Benicio Del Toro, Sean Penn, and Jim Carrey and then end up with an unknown and 2 TV rejects?
