This will be rubbish. They don't know how to make a Hitman movie. The character and the film should be like The Terminator. An emotionless assassin hunting down a targets and making their deaths look like "accidents". He's called "The Silent Assassin" for a reason.

Ok, dudes relax. He does have a barcode, its different but still. We didnt see pictures of him killing people by contract. He protects the girl that is genetically modified just as him, this is what we can see in the pictures.

As for actor don't having a look, well Oliphant defo didn't have the look, Paul Walker didn't too. This actor actually does have a look, facial structure with a chick bones, low lip passage and eyebrowes. He really does. What he doesn't have is a build of 47 but Hey no one is perfect and out of all actors he is the closest looking to a game version, so I am pretty happy. And I really don't care about changes of barcode and that it is on his neck now (it does make more sense actually).

I still have my games if they screw up and we survived the first film (that wasn't that good but visually was interesting to look at and was by miles better than Marky Marks Max Paynfull movie).

I am sure movie's gonna be fine.

C'mon guys!!! He does look like 47. Just compare his facial structure to a game poster version. He does. He is a good actor also.
And should we care that he is not entirely bald or that barcode is on his neck? I mean Donald Blake is not turning into Thor either and we are all fine by that. Jackman is tall for Wolverine but he is Wolverine now.

Just relax guys. Oliphant looked much worse but still was ok.

@Ocelot he is not Silent in the pictures because he is not on contract. He is protecting the girl from bunch of other assassins everywhere. Of course it's not gonna be silent.

If you played last game, the plot of this movie will make more sense in terms of 47's emotions and him being The Protector.
He is actually became more emotional with the age. He wasn't intended to be but he became more emotional in the games.
And if developers have no problems with that. We shouldn't have as well.

I am sure its not gonna be excellent but at least it might be good action/thriller. It's not gonna be garbage

It was so hilarious in the first one when he was fighting a bunch of other bald dudes.

In the games, 47 is a clone and fights other clones like himself. That's why they're all bald - they're not some hilarious hair loss club.

So yeah, what guy above me said earlier - they really didn't get the game(s) at all. :)

Well, to each his own threshold for them "getting it", I suppose, but Hitman was never Bond with bald guys chasing him (even though it snagged to-be Bond chick Olga Kurylenko). I reckon that movie should've been a thriller with some caper-esque elements -- timing and suspense stuff, not AAAH GUNNNSSS.

But as a movie franchise, that's not what they were looking for, of course. It still isn't. This is still FOX's crack at Bond/Bourne with pseudo-name recognition. I get that. :)

And for what it's worth, the games have evolved to almost be the action romp the movie depicted! So at this point they can't really go wrong in that regard.

It's going to be interesting to see what - if anything - becomes of the Splinter Cell movie. That franchise is even further apart from what it was when the movie was set in motion with Peter Berg, and they had that teaser in one of the games. Whichever that was. Double Agent? I can't remember.

It should be easy to make but I remember not enjoying the Timothy Olyphant Hitman movie.

Bald intense looking dude with sweet suit and guns. Turns out that's all it takes to get me interested.
