Pajiba's inside source has found out some interesting news, Francis Lawrence (I am Legend director) has come aboard to direct comic book movie "In the Small."
"In the Small", which is based on a Michael Hague graphic novel, the story goes a strange explosion happens and leaves all the human race 6 inches tall (bummer), yet everything else is not affected. The people that survive the transition are forced to create a new social order and adjust in a bigger more dangerous world where man is no longer at the top of the food chain. Damn wheres that bug spray when you need it.
Warner Bros. has set up the project which adapts Michael Hague’s graphic novel. The first draft was wrote by apparently first-time screenwriter Laura Harrington and Warner’s Sarah Schechter is set to produce.
So Francis Lawrence may end up directing "In the Small" before "Sgt. Rock," because "Sgt. Rock" is reportedly in for rewrites, and this movie is ready to go.
Francis Lawrence also directed "Constantine".
LEEE777 - Well this sounds like a fun movie. And when it gets made
I'll be there, sounds cool. Oh and really good news on the "Sgt. Rock" front, rewrites is a way good thing for that. From what I have seen, not one comic book or movie fan wants him in a modern/futuristic setting. Everyone wants World War II. So let's hope when they say rewrites, they mean changing the darn setting!
