Green Lantern, Losers, Jonah Hex Feature Films plus The Human Target Television Series is just the Tip of the DC Iceberg!

Yep, we heard Green Lantern, Jonah Hex, Losers and Human Target and then today The Flash, Aquaman, Adam Strange, Constantine 2, Super Max, Green Arrow and even a Bizarro Superman? Also the long percolating 'Shazam!' has come back from the DC sky, but now here's another the main man himself Lobo! Read more here...

The Lobo movie resurfaces every few years here and there makes some rumblings then disappears again, but this time maybe the time for our favorite space villain turned obnoxious anti-hero bounty hunter Lobo to come and blow us away on the big screen!

Producer Joel Silver that brought us The Matrix trilogy, Lethal Weapon's and many more, who also has The Losers told SCI FI Wire that he is infact actually working on the Lobo movie.

"Lobo is one I'm very excited about maybe doing one day, hopefully soon," Silver said while promoting The Orphan'. "I think we can do it. We've got a script we like."

Silver also hinted that he might be using the technology developed for James Cameron's top secret big movie Avatar might somehow be employed into it to tell the story of the intergalactic biker bad ass bounty hunter with the explosive attitude from hell, well sounds good to me!

LEEE777 - It seems DC has now a game plan which is long overdue in my book, its really nice to see not just Batman and Superman movies on the silver screen anymore, the DC Universe is a rich and vast place with unlimited stories to be told! It would seem Marvel now has some serious competition with their superhero movies and it looks like its DC/Warner Brothers!

Also Joel Silver is involved in the Sgt.Rock and the Wonder Woman projects and non comic book news Lethal Weapon 5 too, how cool is that.

Nuff said, make mine DC! ; )

Never been a huge Lobo fan, but I'd watch a movie regardless. Lobo really shined in those JLI stories were he was working for Manga Khan.

A Lobo movie based on one of his mini-series - say oh, I dunno... 'Lobo's Back' maybe, in all it's R-rated glory (none of this PG-13 crap! SCREW THE CENSORS!) would be AWESOME! A Lobo movie based on his SERIES would be LAME (that thing sucked Kris Kringle's left sickle!) Do it right or don't do it at all!

- 'nuff said!

Am I the only one who wants a live action movie about "Hitman" Tommy Monaghan?
TucsonRican
TucsonRican - 7/21/2009, 10:23 AM
Ah. That's the infamous "penis elbow" cover that Simon Bisley probably gets asked about at every con he goes to.

Personally, I think it looks like Lobo might be Jewish...

Lmao @ TEA!!!

No KYOS @ It might have to be called though, TOMMY MONAGHAN or something! As we just had a HITMAN movie! Man, it'll be sweet though! ; )
