Johnny Love yammered on for most of that time about how hes not an animation fan, nor a Batman/Superman team-up fan(???). They gave their support for PE but it lacked enthusiasm due mostly to JLove's lengthy verbosity. I think JMan would have said more and did express some enthusiasm, but not enough.

Awesome review guys, i just saw it and agree with all you guys said

If they did a live action of this i bet it would be even bigger than The Dark Knight and DC would finally get some much needed recognition.

Just watched this today and man I loved it. Batman was very awesome in it, as usual. Wasn't sure on the animation when I saw trailers, but it was quite good. I can't wait for more Cartoons, they definitely need to make more Batman ones;)

I did not like the batman flying the ship into the meteor part or Superman flying head first into Kryptonite Radiation without any effects on him. if this move was half an hour longer all the explanation could have been added. This should have been an animated series like spawn was. I am first and Foremost a BAtman fan. And i just didnt get the emotional overload and why would Batman create a grated seal to the manor or the cave that superman or any hack could get through but not himself with a simple cod? I loved it but it was not worthy of itself in my opinion.

New 2 the site...Jman and Jonny love...enjoy all ur vieos..keep doing ur thing!...I loved this movie...it was good 2 see an animated comic movie that wasnt made 4 jus kids...I enjoyed the green lantern 1 too because i was neva that interested in him as a character until that movie...deff opened my eyes 2 what a cool character GL is!! Hopefully reynalds dosnt turn GL in2 a comedy...that would suck...

altho I am a fan of reeves...whats with casting superman with wimpy looking actors?...between smallville and brandon routh and reeves and even talks of cage???WTF!...y dont they cast a beefed up actor 2 portray the man right? make him look baddass and have him kick sum serious ass!!! stop casting pretty boys and start lookin at dudes that go 2 the friggin gym!!! i cant wait 4 the "expendables" 2 come out...remind hollywood what a baddass movie is all about!!!

Teabag@ I get what ur sayin...i jus mean..well take 4 instance jackman 4 wolverine..or butler 4 300..they jus need 2 find an actor whos passionate about the character enough that they will put in the work at the gym...its not all about good acting...u gotta look the part 2! if brandon had gained sum muscle 4 that movie and actually had sum fighting scenes..the movie wouldnt hav been such a failier...as much as reeves was a great superman..i think he kinda set the standard of what superman should look like on film...and that sucks!

Why do people assume that superman is jacked.
How is he supposed to get jacked in the first place what is he supposed to go to the gym and work out. Really when you think about it reeves an routh are probably in too good of shape.

SuperMans powers are an extension of his own will. His own focus is given power by the molecular change that happens when he is in the presence of a "Yellow Sun" and its radiation. He is whatever he wants and believes himself to be .... especially if he is unaware of his ability. It is like trying to do something while in the dream state.... it is almost impossible , yet can be done when you are trying.... but when you arent even conscious of the effort, well then it is like breathing. It is a matter of course. I couldnt wait for this and like i said earlier... i dont think it was even worthy of itself. meaning what it could have been. Animation was cool. But it lacked what all great BatMan moments have ... which is the internal presence that Batman uses to over come any struggle. And it was about 49 episodes too short.

I personally do not get why people love this movie so much. I HATED it! It`s a good idea and scenario for a movie, but the script they wrote really SUCKED!!! I really hope that the graphic novel is a lot different because there`s so many week and stupid points that I never really got a chance to get into the movie. Every time I was actually kind of getting into it something would happen that would just bring it back down again. All this movie is is an action showcase that in the end doesn`t even look that good because of the terrible character designs who might as well be big block characters.

Also, promos for this movie say that both Superman AND Batman are enemies of the public when really it`s only Superman. Batman is only there to help Superman out and the only one with a price on his head is Superman. At the end of it all, Batman never really even needed to be there because his role could have basically been filled by any other hero.

This movie NEVER should have been made and should have been a live action movie with a totally rewritten script. It could be done if you cut down on the amount of heroes and villains you show and use no name villains in their place.

A big thumbs down to this DVD and at the end of the day this will be the only DC Direct-to-DVD movie that I won`t be buying.

OReilly there is tripping, it was a good movie but I hated how they had to leave out the cool part at the end when they go stomp on Luthor with all of the bat kids, I realize it would have had to ben 3 hours long but it looked like an Ed Mcg. book made to life, it was awesome. Good tone, good animation, maybe (OReilly) u should read the book before u diss the flick "sir" (I use that loosely). All in all could have been better but I'd give it a 7/10
