I'm not a fan of the new style Marvel figures. The Legends ones were much better. I'll still snap that black n white Cap up if i see it!

ill try to keep the "action figures" relevant to movies,
like... i want all these characters to makes cameos in the captain america movie..they really should be in the movie..im sure they wont.. but should be, it goes with the comics..these characters came together to beat the nazies and red skull

Shit abput your laptop! Have you heard about the bad Johnny Walker news?! My Older Generation family are/were quite involved with them!

Diageo, the Company that owns Johnny Walker, other Scotch whiskys and Spirits has shut down the bottling and blending plant in Kilmarnock where JW has been bottled forever!! My aunts dad worked for them and gives out bottles every christmas to certain members of the family and Apparently my Grandad when he was the head policman in Killie used to come home every odd Friday a little tipsy after spending sometime with the heads of the distillery! :)

the box looked sweet but the figures don't look like anything special. Just our run of the mill stuff from what I can see. The old school torch looked cool though.

It's a blow to Scoland mate!! I have saved an unopened bottle of Black label to keep for a few years cos new ones wont say Kilmarnock on them and IMO they will be worth a small fortune in a few years!

The Marvel Legends by TOYBIZ were soooo cool and awesome, worth collectin.
But THE Hasbro ripped them off, i think on purpose, so they could take them out for good and then launch this Marvel Universe series (kind of cool actually, highly detailed for 3/4" figures) but WAY EXPENSIVE, i mean, they cost more than the previous ML Line.

This 70th anniversary line is the next step, let´s just hope they are not just re-packs

Who's the "W" guy? Did Pres. Bush become a superhero?
Jimdlux
Jimdlux - 8/11/2009, 2:09 AM
Wow, that made a Black and White figure, that's cool.
Jimdlux
Jimdlux - 8/11/2009, 2:24 AM
Hey "Big Head Sarge", the "W" guy is a character called Whizzer. He was a member of the Liberty Legion, then later the Invaders. He came out of retirement and joined the Avengers for a comic and had a heart attack. He never had his own comic or anything. He was a speedster who was faster then Quicksilver (Quicksilver is described as running at speeds up to 175mph where Whizzer was described as being able to run "several" miles per hour). He got his ability what he was bitten by a poisonous snake as a child and his father gave him a transfusion of mongoose blood to save his life...man the weirdest things gave people powers...

Yeah, that's kinda retarded, but thanks. lol
