KICK-ASS Gears Up For Pre-Production

The big screen adaptation of Mark Millar's comic book series Kick-Ass has begun the pre-production phase.

Mark Millar and John Romita Jr's KICK-ASS series, currently on issues #2 was quickly optioned for big screen treatment.

KICK ASS tells the story of a 15-year-old Dave Lizewski who decides to be a superhero though he lives in the "real world."

Matthew Vaughn is directing and financing for the film. Vaughn has also written the screenplay with Jane Goldman. The big news is that casting has already begun, "when news breaks on a certain actor they have lined up..." the distribution deal will be next.
