Lionsgate Picks Up Pencilneck Adaptation

The indie comic book "Pencilneck" from Victor Carungi and Paper Street Comics has been optioned by Lionsgate for a big screen adaptation.

"Pencilneck," follows a mild-mannered banker with a criminal brother he has to save. The mob force him to rob his employer, but when the heist goes bad the banker becomes a hostage and snaps. He goes on a rampage to rescue his brother.

Benderspink's Chris Bender and JC Spink to produce with John Sacchi of Lionsgate overseeing the project.
