marvel wins,dc does good event books & storylines but marvel is better.

only read the flash, green lantern & whatever the big event storyline is (i don't bother with all the crossover books)but as for marvel i read all of the books i get all year round & the major events.

dc really can't touch if you ask me.......

annihilation
war of kings
the thanos imperative
world war hulk
siege
dark regin
acts of vengence
the infinity gauntlet
secret invasion
secret wars
secret wars 2
civil war
wolverine old man logan
fall of the mutants
the excutioners song
the dark phoenix saga
inferno
age of apocalyspe
onslaught

& so many more.

I think Marvel wins if you are looking for quantity over quality. DC's events seem to be of better quality IMO.

The only Marvel events that I thought were really good were Civil War, Age of Apocalypse and Secret Wars.

DC has the Blackest Night event, which IMO is the best event ever. Brightest Day was great, Flashpoint, Crisis on Infinite Earths, Thy Kingdom Come, the list goes on.

I think it comes down to Blackest Night vs. Civil War for me, and Blackest Night was just more epic.
