Mark Millar's newest comic series KICK-ASS is getting big screen treatment with director Matthew Vaughn at the helm.

It was recently reported that Matthew Vaughn is writing and planning to direct the adaptation of Mark Millar's comic series KICK-ASS.

Millar is expected to have more hands on involvment on this project as well.

KICK-ASS follows a teen super hero wannabe withouth powers who gets kicked around and beat up by his opponents.
