Michelle Rodriguez Isn't A Fan Of Female Superheroes; Says She'll Have To "Invent One"

Michelle Rodriguez has carved out a bit of a niche as an action star, having appeared in the likes of the Resident Evil movies, Fast And Furious, Avatar etc -- and definitely seems to like a bit of physicality in her movie roles. Because of this fans have wondered if it was only a matter of time before she donned a costume of some kind and joined the ranks of the comic book movie universe. Well, there might be a very good reason why that hasn't happened yet as EW found out when chatting to Rodriguez about her latest action role in Fast And Furious 6.

“I was a big Iron Man, Superman, and big Spider-Man fan. I love all the DC Comic characters. I love all the great male superheroes. They’re awesome. I especially love the rebellious ones like the Punisher. Like when he went head to head with Spider-Man? That was so cool!

There aren't a lot of chicks that I like at all in comics (she say Catwoman is an exception), as a matter of fact, in order to have one, I’d probably have to invent one. They just don’t exist now.”

There were a few whispers of Rodriguez being in the mix to play Wonder Woman a while back (whether in the short lived tv series or otherwise in unknown), but nothing concrete ever materialized. Do you guys think she'd suit that role or could you see her as a different character? Sound off below.
