Following yesterday’s panel for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., studio chief Jeph Loeb talked to IGN about the future of Marvel Television. One of the possible ideas that was brought up was the rumored Agent Peggy Carter. “Wouldn’t that be great?” Loeb teased. “That’s what I love about Hayley [Atwell] is that she thinks that’s a good idea. It’s like when you have all the ingredients to make a really yummy sandwich: that’s what you want to do is make that sandwich, hopefully.” Loeb also acknowledged that Marvel is planning more live-action Television. They plan on not only putting more comic characters in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but also be giving some characters their own TV Show in the future. “That’s certainly the plan,” Loeb said, “We took our lessons from the studio. The studio came out, they made Iron Man, then two years later they made Iron Man 2. Then the leap to make Thor and Cpatain America, when you think about that, to make two movies in a year, doubled their output. It’s the same kind of thing. We just want to make sure that S.H.I.E.L.D. is up, it’s running, it’s the show that people expect and it’s on good, solid ground with great acting, spectacular visual effects, really having that sort of epic adventure feel with human spirit tied into it and just the right dose of humor. If we get that right, obviously a lot more becomes open to us but by the same token we’re not in any kind of rush.” You can watch the whole interview in the video embedded below, including their talk about Marvel's animated TV Shows.

Can we please get a another X-Men animated series!?

Wolverine and the X-Men had so much potential...smh

I would like the next X-Men series to be similar to the original series of the 90's but a modern spin to it.

And please don't make it a laugh box for the preschoolers. That's one thing no one can say about marvel...they don't [frick] around when it comes to humor...lol

Should never have cancelled Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Such a great show, shame they only had it for two season. Show like that, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Spider-Man the animated series, X-Men the animated series is what makes me watch those cartoons. They all had that blend of everything and it worked in an outstanding way to me. Those are the only superhero cartoon shows I've ever been able to get into.

I think I'm giving up on Marvel Animated Series... Avengers Assemble has been a let down outside of an episode here and there being decent.

I'll stick with the new TMNT because they actually respect the fans of previous series.

The 90's Marvel stuff was great. Silver Surfer, Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk, the second season of FF. Then you had Iron Man and FF season 1, which had their moments, but weren't great.

@marvel72 i agree with you man. that really bothered me. why no mention of one of the best films in phase 1? incredible hulk was made at the same time as iron man and really showed the studio that it was possible to do.

They are trying to forget about TIH... It wasn't even that bad!! What would they do if X-Men Origins: Wolverine was Marvel Studios? Would they commit suicide??

EMH was one of the best superhero animated shows ever and there is a special place in hell for the guy who decided to cancel it

Its really unfortunate, I was at NYCC. The people at the Marvel booth were complete jerks. Telling everybody one thing then yelling at us for actually doing what they told us. I was even threatened by some Steroid popping moron. I mean seriously!!!
