I enjoyed this as well . I disagree with Laura Donner Shuler about the costume aspect being incorperated into the films . It would have been cool to have seen Logan hunting down Sabertooth in the brown uniform ( origins movie ) at some point during the scene in the woods , especially considering the seasonal background it was shot in . They could make it translate , Rogue's colorway is cool and Storm's uni could have been a dark midnight blue . The hollywood producers just dont give a frick .

I'll give DC/WB credit , they do bring their characters to life . I just seen "Green Lantern : First Flight" the other day and I can totally see that entire universe coming to life in the actual motion picture . All of the "Supeman" movies ( even returns ) just have that look of nastalgia that comes from him wearing his costume , you don't second guess or even question "what's this guy doing running around in tights" ? The "Watchmen" sealed the deal and of course Batman is a no brainer . Part of the joy about the upcoming "Deadpool" movie is that Ryan Reynolds is pushing for as much authenticity as possible and that includes his costume .

SHULER ! BRING THE COMICS TO LIFE WITH THE SAME ZEAL THAT CAPTURED ALL OF OUR HEARTS !

OR JUST GET OUT OF THE RACE ....

It can be done , you guys with the money and control just don't want to do it . There is really no excuse , it would just make the films that much better .
