Green Lantern! The reasons why are infinte. One of them are because I love the immense mythology behind it. It's been said many times but I agree with the Star Wars appeal and feeling of it. The terrific sci-fi with the exceptional characters. The sheer magnitude of epicness is beyond anything.. And from what I can gather the movie will be pretty decent, a great and modern adaption of an essential hero. Hal Jordan is simply my favorite comicbook character of all time. I have no doubt that Green Lantern will impress us all and be a terrific movie in it's own respect, like the rest of the contenders. In some ways it's still surreal that it's happening.

It's a great year to be a comicbook fan!
I am really excited about the others like Thor but of the others Captain America gets the prize.
But it's Green Lantern all the way for me!

All the options are without a doubt great! But Green Lantern just gets my absolute attention. Everything is in place to make it an insane comicbookmovie. I love Cap and Thor, X-Men not so much... In brightest day... In blackest night... Do I have to say anymore? GREEN LANTERN!

I don't see Cap making anywhere near as much as Thor or GL. There seems to be little interest in it. And i'd rather watch it dozen times over thor, but whatever. GL will gross the most, EASILY.

1. Cap
2. Thor
3. Green Lantern

Not sure how people are still bashing Cap, as everything that has come out for that has been top notch.

We already know Thor is bad ass, and I have to wait till the midnight show on Thursday.

Green Lantern I think will be a good movie, it's Martin Campbell, but Marvel will own the summer.

Xmen FC has given me such conflicting feelings since the last international trailer, but I just keep telling myself that x3 had a bad ass trailer.

I voted for Cap cause I'm a bigger cap fan than thor fan and I'm not as interested in GL that I used to be.

Wow, this is tricky! I think I would have to go with Green Lantern.

Although I've always been more interested in Marvel's range of characters, Green Lantern just seems so much more unique in terms of both the (apparently incredible) 3D effects and the CGI being used to bring the characters and Planet of Oa to life.

Of course, X-Men: First Class and Captain America: The First Avenger are equally unique as they're the first period superhero movies! Living in the UK, I've already seen THOR (and am seeing it again tomorrow) and the only thing I could possible say about that is that it was amazing. :)

will the guardians be featured in GL?

I'm already rather upset about First Class consisting of Emma Frost already having her diamond form. That is certainly not a power she obtained in the time frame of the movie. However, X-Men is by far my favorite comic book series, so I'm sure I will enjoy the movie in some form considering Matthew Vaughn is directing and Bryan Singer is back on as a producer. My vote is for Thor, though. While he is a very popular comic book character, he is also extremely powerful. Perhaps the most powerful hero in the Marvel Universe. Considering the likes of Natalie Portman being his co-star, who is probably the hottest actress on the planet(financially and physically). Plus it's the first film coming out, so many comic nerds will go see it just for the excitement that beings comic book movie season. I honestly think I'll end up liking Captain America the most of all these movies. Let's face it, he's the best effin hero ever!

Of course the guardians will be in the GL movie. They are in the Wondercon trailer.

GL is my most anticipated title out of all the rest. Wondercon footage pawn all of the rest of the comicbook movie trailers. Sinestro FTW!!!!

I honestly think Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will dominate the summer, but with this poll, I'd say Green Lantern
RunDTC

Of the 4 coming out this summer, I'm most excited about "Captain America". I'll definitely check out "Thor" but probably just rent "Green Lantern" and "X-Men: First Class". But I am looking forward to "The Dark Knight Rises" and "The Avengers" much more than these. "TDKR" could make the Nolan Batman's the greatest movie trilogy ever (though "Lord of the Rings" will be hard to top). "The Avengers" has been 4 years in the making, after the great post-credits easter egg in "Iron Man" that started this great Marvel cinematic connection. But of the 4 for 2011, I'm really looking forward to "Captain America". Unlike Superman, he represents the American people and what we stand for (usually). And with the death of Osama Bin Laden, America is back to representing the country strongly. And what better way than with Captain America?

I'm for Green Lantern but Cap will win this poll I think.I must admit that I am slowly coming round on the Cap front.I'm not a fan but it looks fun and I'm interested in the dynamic he'll bring to The Avengers.I am a massive Thor fan though and totally enjoyed the movie despite some so-so 3D :)
And is it just me or is something screwy going on with the site atm?

@ gaston

you know i'm a marvel fan,but i get mixed feelings when i see the captain america trailer, when i first saw it some of it didn't look quite right but then other bits like the red skull looked fantastic.

i have to see another trailer as soon as possible.

gmoney - wherea are they in the WONDERCON trailer?

And you can't compare the wondercon trailer to any of the other trailers because it's not a trailer!

my most anticipated: X-men.

It looks like the most adult oriented, I like the 60's set and the political/historical plot. A great decision.

and I love the x-men world.

Green Lantern seems the most epic, and I watched Thor and was really dissapointed with the script and poor development of some asgardian characters, and too much comedy for my taste. And I dont hope big things from Captain America, but Ill probably like it more than Thor, surprinsingly for me.

But I have the feeling I will really enjoy X-men First Class, because the plot and the introduction of new x-men more the young Beast and Mystique.

It will be exciting to see the direction taken in Green Lantern, but as a comic book fan The Avengers movie is the ultimate cataclysm right now and while I am excited to see Thor on the big screen Captain America: The First Avenger provides the final element needed to get there.

X-men does look interesting and it'll be good to see some different mutants explored :)
