'Resurrection' From Oni Press Optioned By Universal

The independent comic book 'Resurrection' by Marc Guggenheim has been optioned by Universal.

"Resurrection" takes place after an alien invasion where a group of survivors are trying to regain control of the planet.

From the writer Marc Guggenheim, co-writer of the show 'Eli Stone,' with illustrations from Dave Dumeer "Resurrection" is on it's third issue, it was first published in October.

Universal-based Scott Stuber is producing with Eric Gitter of Closed on Mondays Entertainment, the producing arm of Oni Press.

Guggenheim will act as executive producer with Oni Press' Peter Schwerin.
