Hey Gang! Galactus here. I'm one of the site owners--in case ya didn't know...

Anyhoo, we're getting an excess of people abusing our reporting system and overloading the "Hall of Shame". Whether these abusers are being overly sensitive, or trying to get other people in trouble, or just didn't read the description of how our reporting system is supposed to work--for whatever reason, there are way too many users reporting others for fairly benign comments.

So, let me explain ONCE to everybody in this article and hope that it gets passed along to those who are doing it.

1.) The reporting system is so we can be alerted to and ban TROLLS and SPAMMERs, not users you don't personally like or have silly disagreements with.

2.) Being offended that someone has a differing OPINION than you is not a reportable offense. Do not be overly-sensitive and report people who have not done anything wrong. YOU will be risking your own account. Man-up and quit being a pussy.

3.) If you are engaged in DC/WB vs. Marvel/Disney warring, THAT is not a good enough reason to report someone. Knock it off!

4.) If the specific comment being reported does not have anything TRULY offensive in it, DON'T REPORT IT. We won't be able to tell what the problem is and will look at YOU as a false reporter.

Having outlined the proper way to report TRUE TROLLS, listen closely... In the coming days...

...A PURGE OF THE "HALL OF SHAME" IS COMING! TROLLS AND FALSE REPORTERS BEWARE. BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR OR YOU WILL BE DUMPED FROM THE SITE!

I will be summarily disabling users who are abusing the system, or actually trolling. So, if you, or someone you know is being a dick. Tell them to stop right now because I will be making an extra effort to find them and dump them. Capishe?
