aw come on gibbyblaylock , I'm all scorning big budget movies about plot and acting, but when it comes to this homemade stuff you can't judge it the same way. These people are certainly passionate about their project and it looks like they're having a blast doing it. they took a hero from what sounds like the public domain and brought him to life. I have no idea who this character is, but who cares they produced a producty to the best of their ability.
Kudos guys.

@Shaman

The Scarab is a part of a group of characters from the golden age that have fallen into the public domain. That is to say, nobody has any copyright or trademark rights over the character so anybody can use the character in any way they choose.

The character is currently being used in the Dynamite Comics Project: Superpowers series by Alex Ross and Jim Krueger. Needless to say he looks far cooler in the comic:)

Im sure the Scarab name is used for a Dc/vertigo mini series a while back! I remember it being cool, but never got to buy it! Yeah i know its nothing to do with the Dynamite comics etc lol!

We are in the process of releasing some comics based on our characters and we have some movie merchandise for sale as well. As of now the film is in the editing and post production end. Idealy we will be seeing this on DVD sooner than later. Thanks for all the comments.
