The next 5 spots are taken by X-Men (2000), Superman Returns (2006), Blade II (2002), Daredevil(2003) and Punisher(2004).

Dark Knight still leads the pack but there's a slight decrease in its percentage but nothing worth worrying about. The first Iron Man movie is in second place, let's see on the next update if its sequel will be on this list. The 3rd spot still belongs to the adaptation of the magnum opus Watchmen. There's some trading places on the 4th and 5th spot with Batman Begins climbing the chart and Spider-man 2 dropping a notch. Leterrier's Incredible Hulk holds its post in number 6. Another trading of places with Spider-man getting X2's spot in 7th and 8th places. Wolverine and Blade finishes takes the 9th and 10th place respectively.

With Marvel's Iron Man 2 and DC's the Losers will we see some new competitors in our list?

So, keep on voting and tune in next month for our next update.

watchmen ?! Seriously ?!?! That movie's not even near as good the dark knight was, in fact, It should've been number 10, and blade should've been number 4. And who voted for x-men origins wolverine ?!? Jeebus !!

Watchmen is CBM of the past 2 centuries but Iron Man is CBM of the decade, yeah! understand that logic!

I agree Watchmen was awesome!!! But ya gotta admit that there wasn't much creative lisence goin on. I mean it was a live action interpretation of the comic book (which was great), but I think Dark Knight was so different from what we expect from a CBM.

why do all you guys love tdk so dam much. it did everything everyone complains about in a cmb. deviate from the source material.... check......kill of the villain ......check, two face here people i know the joker survived. bad inclusion of a love intrest...... check. dont get me wrong its was a very, very good movie. but it was not a good batman movie.

I gotta say this list is pretty solid! It's not my personal list, but I certainly appreciate how the poll is conducted and the ultimate outcome. Anyone who hasn't voted needs to get on it.

It has been a while since each of these films came out and as far as the long run goes, I find The Incredible Hulk is just as awesome every time I watch it as it was the first time. The lasting power is something to consider in that film. "HULK SMASH!!!"

EDIT: Hmmm... it appears a user may cast multiple votes... that makes this poll completely null and I have to retract my first statement.

But what about... Ghost World, Road to Perdition, Art School Confidential, American Splendor, V for Vendetta, A History of Violence, From Hell, Persepolis, Oldboy, Stardust, and Sin City? Granted they're not all Marvel or DC but it would be nice to get some non-tights wearing CBMs up there
BLADE44
BLADE44 - 2/3/2010, 7:37 AM
Watchmen and Wolverine ahead of BLADE? REALLY!!! Im not sure Watchmen should've even made the list and Wolverine was awful almost as bad as District9.
BIGBMH
BIGBMH - 5/7/2010, 8:54 AM
WTF?! How did Wolverine make it on the list. There's no way it's better than the first X-men. I know there's a lot of haterd toward X3, but that's better than Wolverine 2too
A few more gripes.
Spider-man 2 is totally overrated, and this is coming from a Spider-man fan
X-men 2 easilly>Spider-man 2
Spider-man> Spider-man 2
I know a lot of people disagree with that one, but watch those movies again and tell me which was the better story. And Dafoe as Osborn was so much better than Molina as Octavius.
